2010/2011 Room Parent info
Room Parents are an essential part of our volunteer base. Grade Level Parents, Head Room Parents and Room Parents work together to provide fun parties and crafts to the classrooms throughout the year, as well providing volunteer support to the teachers. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with your child and his/her friends and teacher during the year. Follow the link above for more information about becoming a Room Parent. | -ordering supplies, refreshments | |
| -coordinating plans with Head Room Parents | |
| -confirming student enrollment numbers for activities | |
| -submitting receipts & maintaining budget | |
| Responsibilities include: | |
| -meeting with Grade Level Room Parent to review plans for the year | |
| -meeting with your individual teacher to coordinate needs | |
| -meeting with Room Parents to coordinate/plan crafts, activities, parties, refreshments, supplies, etc. | |
| -holding workshops if needed | |
| -assisting teacher with classroom needs | |
| -submitting receipts if necssary | |
